The Opportunity

Two-year Associate program supporting the sourcing, execution, and monitoring of private equity fund commitments at a high quality, growing alternative investment manager. This role will also have exposure to the sourcing, execution, and monitoring of equity co-investments. Gain hands-on experience across the full investment lifecycle within a collaborative team environment. Potential for third year Associate offer and advancement to Senior Associate based on performance.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, underwriting, documentation, and portfolio monitoring across funds and co-investments
  • Contribute to investment discussions and participate actively in weekly investment meetings
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Mentor and develop junior team members

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • BA/BS/BBA required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in private markets investing, investment banking, consulting, or transaction services; preference for prior experience underwriting private equity fund commitments
  • Demonstrated interest in private equity and the broader investment management industry
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information efficiently
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic

 

Technical & Data Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Working knowledge of DealCloud or other CRM tools
  • Working knowledge of data and process automation tools, including Python and Excel-based modeling
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI tools, with the ability to apply them to workflow automation
  • Interest in leveraging technology to improve investment processes and team efficiency
  • Travel required (conference attendance, AGM attendance, diligence trips, NYC office, etc.)

Pay Transparency

Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 + bonus eligible 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
