New York Life is seeking a passionate and experienced Process Improvement Analysis to mature and optimize our growing Cloud Services platform. This opportunity provides the right individual to get in on the ground floor of a growing cloud platform and develop scalable processes to support our (PaaS) Platform-as-a-Service organization.     

 

  • The individual should be certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above, and SAFe Scrum Master Certified with 3+ years’ experience.
  • The ability to identify improvement areas using standard industry benchmarks
  • Process re-engineering
  • Statistical analysis
  • Process and value-stream mapping

 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to design effective and efficient processes related to cloud technology
  • Ability to identify impediments to delivery, manage & escalate risk
  • Facilitate planning for cloud services product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create and document process enhancements
  • Establish and monitor performance targets/KPI’s
  • Detailed oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate process performance using tailored dashboards and reports
  • Manage financial controls related to process

 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be self-directed, a good team player and capacity for effective time management
  • Solid or in-depth understanding of cloud technology & service providers
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of best practice methodologies and techniques related to Dev Ops

 

Education:

  • Six Sigma green belt or above or similar certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
