Job Function and Key Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Release/Environment Manager of the Finance Technology team, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of Release co-ordination and Systems Administration for the following platforms: SAP Financials, Blue Prism Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Windows/Virtual Desktop Applications (VDA) and any other platform support for application teams. This includes Release Management for software deployments, coordination of Disaster Recovery testing, and managing the operation and configuration of the RPA environment.   


Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:


  • Meeting with all stakeholder to define the Release Calendar for the Finance applications each year and maintenance of the calendar going forward.
  • Ownership of the complete end to end release management procedures for the Finance applications
  • Work with the Project, Development, 3rd party vendors to coordinate production releases.
  • Administer the Blue Prism RPA software including configuring and implementing new Bots, managing the operation of the Bots and coordinating the resolution of ant environmental issues that may occur.
  • Work with SAP Solution Manager for SAP platform upgrades and code migrations.
  • Work with the Windows VDA team to configure new profiles and deploy upgrades
  • Coordinate annual Disaster Recover testing
  • Review Bot implementations for compliance with Best Practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT development areas, vendor teams, and customer departments to assure proper systems integrations



Typical candidates will possess:

  • 5+ experience with managing release management activities for the enterprise
  • Strong experience coordinating and administering technology platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to learn new technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows required
  • Experience providing on-call application level support
  • Experience interfacing with Operations and Technical Support organizations
  • Experience with Change Management & code migration processes and procedures
  • Ability to analyze problems and creatively plan and develop alternatives and solutions
  • Experience with Insurance and Investment products, Accounting, a plus
  • Programming skills desirable but not required.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, a plus
  • Experience with Blue Prism Administration, a plus
  • Bachler's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field or equivalent
