The New York Life (NYL) Long Term Care (LTC) is seeking an experienced digital marketing leader responsible for developing new initiatives that spur growth and innovation and expand our digital capabilities. The person in this role should be a thought leader and visionary, inspired by data-driven, performance marketing, grounded in digital campaign delivery, and ready to assume accountability for the development and execution of a robust digital roadmap and learning agenda to drive sales outcomes. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a dynamic manner, juggling multiple priorities and managing high-performing teams of internal and external partners.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directs the development of digital strategies, media plans, campaign execution and Lead Generation efforts
  • Own creation and implementation of direct to consumer marketing strategy
  • Plans and executes strategic tests to increase sales and profitability while managing risk, using all available levers including new targeting techniques, creative concepts, offer strategies, calls to action, etc.
  • Directs and actively contributes to the development of sales forecasting models to support annual and periodic planning cycles.  Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop key performance metrics and performance targets.
  • Execute and design marketing strategy with cross-functional teams focused on implementing best practices to enable repeatable, scaleable, efficient work
  • Develop new value propositions and determine go-to-market strategies.
  • Responsible for building comprehensive, end-to-end digital solutions from awareness through engagement and conversion, for both lead generation and online applications/sales.
  • Create, author and deploy educational content to promote our industry, brand and products
  • Identify new corporate partners and resources to support lead gen and educational efforts, including creation of consumer facing tools  
  • Lead the direct to consumer facing content and lead a governance structure for the enterprise’s digital agenda
  • Builds strong and effective relationships with other NYL teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Special projects, as needed

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of years of direct response marketing experience with heavy emphasis on digital marketing, in either a client-side or marketing agency environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing performance-based marketing campaigns across multiple digital media to drive leads and sales.
  • Experienced people-manager with ability to drive strong team performance and employee satisfaction
  • Strategic thought leadership, ability to manage multiple priorities at once, work effectively in a cross-functional environment, and build strong relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating and delivering compelling presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to influence the development of effective programs and strategies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective planning and organizational skills as well as attention to detail
  • Minimum of two years in insurance industry, long term care insurance experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of key technology components related to the development and delivery of digital strategies, coupled with the ability to have meaningful dialogue with technology partners to drive desired outcomes
