Position Summary


The mission of the Information Services team within the Group Benefit Solutions Client Service Organization is to source and build new data assets while supporting existing assets across the broader Client Service Organization utilizing modern technology coupled with creativity to drive improved client service, individual and team productivity, and overall operating efficiency.  


This position will be key in executing the strategic direction of the Client Services Organization including but not limited to:


  • Execution of the daily/weekly/monthly processes within the Information Services team
  • Ensuring that all reporting and workflow tasks are completed timely and accurately
  • Mitigation of any system or logical anomalies that my be presented
  • Working directly with the business teams to identifying and scope new opportunities within the organization
  • Building, supporting, and improving data assets as assigned
  • Adhering to all governance models of the team’s centralized data


Primary Responsibilities


  • Ensure compliance with data governance rules and initiatives
  • Ensure best practices in terms of data architecture and tools are utilized
  • Support the successful migration of data processing infrastructure to new corporate environment as requested
  • Identify new opportunities for new data asset development with the purpose of improving individual and/or team productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and understanding and awareness of key operating metrics
  • Development of new Reporting and Workflow solutions that serve to meet the information and workflow needs of the Client Service Organization with special focus on the Revenue Management team and related responsibilities
  • Participate on Enterprise and departmental projects as assigned
  • Support the execution of the Information Services team's strategic plan
  • Maintain and protect confidential information
  • Comply with all organizational and departmental policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education / Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent relevant business experience


Required Skills / Knowledge


  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in an analytics role
  • Business knowledge particularly in the insurance industry is helpful
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills
  • Adept at taking complex concepts/datasets and being able to identify trends and insights
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives, and gain support
  • Able to execute with minimal direction
