Role Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the collections processes are being executed efficiently and updates and changes are implemented. This position will lead other team members and ensure that all aspects of the collections process are being maintained and enhanced as well as all proper documentation is being updated. They will lead process improvement initiatives and work continually with key internal business partners to ensure updates/changes are completed. This position is also responsible for working directly with Management in regards to providing daily/monthly reporting, as well as providing process improvements as applicable based on analytical analysis and trends.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the delinquency process and ensures all processes and communications are submitted timely/accurately per the outlined processes.
- Provide team lead support to other collections team members to ensure SLA’s are met and/or exceeded.
- Recommends process and procedure improvements based on knowledge to ensure efficiencies within the processes.
- Develops a broad understanding of all Revenue Management functions in order to address collection inquiries appropriately. This includes but not limited to premium validations, client onboarding, commissions, and delinquency processes.
- Builds strong partnerships by participating in the review of shared processes between Revenue Management and external teams to ensure appropriate quality checks are in place, develops recommendations when issues are identified and manages issues through resolution.
- Resolves complex issues with a new perspective based on knowledge of current processes and solutions.
- Assist in the implementation of new products and platforms and integrate into current collections processes and procedures.
- Trains impacted staff on new and revised Standard Operating Procedures in relation to collections processes and procedures.
- Completes quality reviews of other team members to ensure accuracy and document results/trends.
- Meets or exceeds all timeliness, productivity and quality standards established for the position.
- Maintains data within internal applications and or tracking tools
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Business or Accounting and/or equivalent work experience
- Basic understanding of Group Insurance products and functional processes and supporting systems
- Strong Verbal/Written Communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and results oriented
- Ability to work within strict time constraints
- Ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment and to changing scope
- Multi-task oriented
- Ability to work independently with multiple systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic accounting skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)

Salary range: $65,000-$100,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
