This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Under certain circumstances, will consider a remote option.


Complete assigned portions of simple to moderately complex premium validations and audits based on demands of current inventory. Perform administrative tasks such as mailbox management, data gathering, document comparisons, and data validation. Process assigned cancellations, Sales compensation and commission payment activities. Work with internal and external customers to review the premium remittance process and provide ongoing premium audit support and guidance to ensure payment accuracy.  




  • Manage team mailbox by reviewing incoming emails, providing timely and thorough responses, and assigning tasks as necessary.
  • Review billing system setup for accuracy and update bills per service requests.
  • Complete assigned New Business, Renewal/Lifecycle Changes, Premium Variance and Referral audits and special projects.
  • Perform procedures on simple to moderately complex validations and audits to determine over/under payments, identify procedural exceptions and drive resolution in compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Work with internal and external business partners to provide guidance to clients in use of premium remittance tools, and instructions on premium calculations.
  • Perform and validate the accuracy of cancellation activity to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • Process Sales compensations timely and accurately to ensure payroll schedule processing targets are met.
  • Monitor and process assigned commissions payment activities.
  • Collect and validate required documents and data elements required to complete initial system setup, process broker of record changes and pay broker commissions.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to phone and email inquiries from internal and external business partners.
  • Comply with departmental policies regarding ethical and proper use of company equipment, including internet access, email and phone usage.




  • High school diploma or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous service experience working in a customer/client-facing role required.
  • Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • General understanding of accounting principles, control procedures and audit standards, practices, and techniques.
  • General knowledge of accounts receivable procedures and systems for reviewing premium remittance payments.
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on customer service when partnering with internal and external business partners.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet manipulation and MS Access data input.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team.

Salary range: $42,500-$62,500 

Overtime eligible: Nonexempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
