Position Summary

Working under the direction of the Mailroom Manager, the Representative is responsible for administrative duties, as well as,  opening and sorting all incoming mail for preparation of electronic imaging of payments and documents.  Representatives will handle scanning and data entry associated with incoming mail and follow established procedures to perform these functions.   The  Representative will also handle all Front Desk duties such as greeting visitors and assigning badges.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Front desk duties to include: checking in visitors, assigning and collecting visitor badges, Liase with building management, managing breakroom cleanup schedule
  • Responsible for assisting the mailroom staff with opening, scanning and indexing work during peak periods
  • Scan work using Fujitsu Scanners and ensure images are clear, complete and that all documents are accounted for
  • Index scanned work using systems such as Datacap, Data Management and Automated Work Flow programs
  • Handle and document unidentified payments and correspondence.  This process includes the use of multiple systems, letter writing and phone calls for resolution

 

Qualifications

  • High School or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service and/or administrative duties in a call center environment preferred
  • Strong verbal and written correspondance skills
