Role Responsibilities:

The Senior Sales Representative is key to our distribution organization, focusing on the growth of Group Benefit Solutions. This involves developing productive relationships with producers, selling group insurance products (Life/AD&D, Disability, Absence Management, and Voluntary Benefits), and ensuring the retention of existing clients. You will partner with other Field Office roles to drive growth through upselling and cross-selling.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive new business pipeline from assigned brokers and consultants.
  • Source RFPs, collaborate with underwriting partners, deliver proposals, and present products.
  • Meet or exceed annual business plan targets for new business premium and case count.
  • Maintain monthly broker call and new business quote activity.
  • Manage the sales process for group insurance products.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop upsell strategies and ensure profitable retention.
  • Participate in renewal processes and industry events.
  • Maintain compliance tracking.
  • Engage in new hire and ongoing training, special projects, and process improvements.
  • Foster teamwork and communicate effectively to enhance productivity and build relationships.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and industry updates.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional client and broker sales experience.
  • 2+ years of sales or related experience preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree preferred.
  • Experience in Life/Accident/Disability/Leave preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Life and Health Insurance License preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and online tools.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Salary range: $190K + (base + sales incentive)
