Our production support team is responsible for providing guidance and resolution on system and operational issues the frontline Service teams encounter when providing customer service to our NYL clients.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily workflow queue per assignment
  • Triage and resolve daily system & policy specific production items
  • Review & monitor various daily reports and act to address any discrepancies and potential issues without management intervention or approval
  • Lead collaborative discussions with the Business/Technology to effectively investigate, discuss, prioritize and resolve production system defects
  • Assist with system/product remediations
  • Influence processing improvements by using report data and trend analysis
  • Communicate consistent system information/changes to Service operation
  • Build, document, maintain and own production support processes and procedures
     

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business discipline preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience with production support, focused in investigating system issues, documentation of findings and resolution
  • Ability to work well under pressure & exercise flexibility
  • Understand/meet deadlines and act with a sense of urgency
  • Self-starter with ability to be accountable for assignments
  • Need to multitask and be flexible to transition efficiently with several competing priorities
  • Good analytics skills
  • Ability to positively deal professionally and collaboratively with internal customers
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office package: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
