Commissions Senior Specialist

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per quarter

The Commissions Senior Specialist is responsible for performing agent commissions processing requests and Quality Review on manual and system-generated commissions transactions. This includes calculating commissions for Life, Annuity and IDI products using established procedures, protocols, systems/resources, and answering agent and field office questions via phone and email. The role also entails submitting Intakes as part of the Production Support effort for the Commissions Production team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works autonomously within established guidelines to perform standard commissions calculations across all administrative systems (CTP/CAS/CASTL, rPay, and CyberLife Fixed and Variable), and resolving issues as they arise.

  • Analyze and log Intakes; collaborate with technology to prioritize previously identified system issues.

  • Run daily Quality Review reports utilizing MS Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, and Tableau

  • Handle telephone inquiries related to commission questions or other routine commissions requests.

  • Prepares correspondence and response to agents, and/or legal entities using established templates.

  • Ability to resolve and explain complex commission problems with limited supervision.

  • Assists with the implementation of procedural changes.

  • Participates in projects and initiatives as requested.

  • May assist in preparation of monthly reports.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Ability to Operate as a generalist with knowledge of other forms of agent compensation including answering basic questions related to: Expense/Training Allowance, Persistency Bonus, and Premium Drawing NYLIC.

  • Knowledge of agent-sold Life & Annuity products

  • Knowledge of administrative systems, e.g., CTP/CAS/CASTL, rPay, and CyberLife (Fixed and Variable).

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Experience with Tableau to assist in the administration and expansion of Dashboards preferred.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $52,500-$90,000 

Overtime eligible: Nonexempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

 

Please note: This role requires FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
