Position:  Senior Associate (Dallas, Texas)
Duties: Serve as a Senior Technical resource on the application team that develops and supports applications pertaining to New York Life's Securities and Eagle Advisors business units. Define, develop and present project specific high-level solution designs to the Applications Manager and Solution Architect. Partner with Business Stakeholders and Business Analysts to review and analyze business requirements. Collaborate with team members to develop Information, Data, Security, and Infrastructure strategies. Document technical specifications and develop migration plans. Develop Custom .NET components for integration with OnBase Hyland Solutions for document workflow process. Develop Custom .NET components for integration with Siebel CRM (8.1) for accounts establishment for Mutual Funds Line of Business. Coordinate with Systems Analysts to transform high-level solution designs into detailed solution designs. Support initiatives through the entire solution delivery lifecycle from initial kickoff to production deployment and identify potential technical risks. Identify and recommend technical improvements to current systems.  Participate in unit, integration, and business acceptance testing of the applications. Troubleshoot application and system issues. Stay current on emerging technologies.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a 3-year foreign degree) plus 3 years of experience performing systems architecture, definition, design, and development. Or, alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience performing systems architecture, definition, design, and development. 
Requires one year of experience serving as a subject matter expert (SME) within the Insurance functional domain. Plus, 3 years of experience must include: (1) Hands-on developer utilizing Microsoft.NET Technology stack.(2) Developing applications within the Insurance function domain using C# and ASP.NET. (3) Translating functional requirements into high-level technical designs. (4) Utilizing Web services, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.  (5) Designing and developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server as a back-end.  (6) Performing ETL development using MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). (7) Developing business services, business components, customizations and implementing workflow processes.
