Are you interested in becoming a Group Claim Senior Representative?

Can you use your analytical skills to quickly make decisions followed by communicating with claimants, employers, and various medical professionals to gather information regarding disability benefits?

Are you all about the follow up and follow through, juggling multiple tasks and knowing what and when things should be completed?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that focuses on delivering great customer service for clients and customers alike? 


What you’ll do:

  • Use your analytical mindset, overall smarts, and our awesome training to investigate claims. Make customer eligibility determinations and manage on-going disability claims.
  • Build relationships and ask the right questions. Communicate with Customers, Clients, and various medical professionals to gather information regarding the Customers’ disability condition and eligibility for benefit payments
  • Be an advocate for wellness. Talk directly with our customers about health programs to keep them engaged, improve their health and help them return-to-work sooner.
  • Leap tall emails and phone calls in a single bound. Handle high levels of call volume from Customers and Clients. Respond to various written and telephone inquiries for eligibility, approval/denial determinations, and claim status.
  • Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing deadlines or attention to detail. Pay all covered claims accurately and timely. This may require completing complex benefit calculations on a recurring basis.


What you need to do the job:

  • Great interpersonal skills
  • HS Diploma and at least one year of professional work experience
  • Be tech savvy, Microsoft Word & Outlook are a must
  • Be inquisitive, analytical and investigative and doing it with keeping the customer in mind
  • Be a planner – time management and the ability to be proactive is essential
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving goals in a complex matrix environment
  • Additional experience administering FMLA and/or State Leaves
  • LPN, nursing and/or healthcare background would be a great match
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of legal liability, insurance coverage and medical terminology


NOTE: We are currently training in a work at home environment, and you will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired connection.  A mobile or hot spot environment is not acceptable and you may need to purchase an Ethernet cord depending on your current set up.
