Technology Internship Program Overview 

Our paid, 10-week technology internship is available for rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students. You’ll have an opportunity to explore potential career paths while you work on real-life projects across our technology organization and gain the valuable experience essential for you to take the next step in starting your career. Our world is full of opportunities to collaborate, imagine, invent, and evolve transformative technology. 

You’ll also expand your skills through hands-on training and development opportunities – all designed to prepare you for a successful career after graduation. 

Here, you’ll be part of a strong network and learn alongside a group of highly motivated peers just like yourself. It’s a collaborative environment full of learning opportunities designed to help you evolve your skills, challenge your strengths, and reach your full potential. You’ll also build mentoring relationships, have access to senior leadership, and gain exposure across the company. 

We consider rising seniors or graduate students who excel in their internships for full-time positions in our Technology Associate Program following graduation. 

Our program includes opportunities in the following areas: 

• Data 

• Developer
• Cloud 
• Cybersecurity

Interns have the ability to join our technology teams in one of the following locations: 

• Alpharetta, GA 
• Clinton, NJ


Program requirements: 

• Minimum 3.2 GPA 
• A rising junior, senior, or graduate student, working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred majors include Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Innovation, Business or related field) 
• An entrepreneurial mindset 
• Ability to work in one of our four locations for 10 weeks in the summer of 2019
• Relevant campus involvement, work experience, and/or community service experience 
• Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills

1. Operating earnings is the key measure use by management to track Company’s profitability from ongoing operations and underlying profitability of the business. This indicator is based on generally accepted accounting principles in the US(GAAP), with certain adjustments Company believes to be appropriate as a measurement approach ( non GAAP), primarily the removal of gains or losses on investments and related adjustments.

Assets under management represent Consolidated Domestic and International insurance Company Statutory assets (cash and invested assets and separate account assets) and third party assets principally managed by New York Life Investment management Holdings LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.
