The Representative is responsible for client service and administration of group annuity contracts that fund pension plan obligations from our pension risk transfer business.


 Primary Responsibilities:


  • Review and interpret contract language relative to calculating and processing retirement benefits
  • Process benefit payments to retirees in our annuity payment systems
  • Review and interpret contract language and retirement certificates relative to death benefits payable as a result of an annuitant's death
  • Review retiree's forms and other supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Locate participants that may have due and unpaid benefits
  • Handle inbound phone inquiries from retirees and/or their family member(s), financial institutions, and contract holders.
  • Process routine financial and non-financial activity on client accounts with both expediency and accuracy
  • Assist with projects as needed

  • Bachelor's or associates degree preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, with the ability to navigate multiple applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently while remaining flexible to meet team goals
  • Ability to follow established procedures and stay current with internal control procedures

Training & Development:


  • Service Analysts undergo a paid on-site training program to learn about the product, contract provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback is provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful

Additional information:

  • Position is for the hours of 9 to 5

The salary range for this position is between $35,000 - $50,000 and has overtime eligibility. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits.
