Role Overview:

  • Align the organization around priorities, sequencing of strategic initiatives, budgets, resource capacity and utilization, implementation of strategic resource plans, and financial management
  • Work with the product owners and other business units to define and deliver a cohesive digital vision and strategy for our agents and field managers across multiple digital properties
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the NYL organization to ensure the successful implementation of the Agent Digital strategy and delivery of our tactical roadmap
  • Play a pivotal role for Digital across Agency and the organization as a whole - ensuring transparency and strategic alignment with our internal and external partners – while ensuring our plans and vision are well socialized to help connect the dots across the organization
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape our evolving digital team and to create business cases to qualify strategic opportunities
  • Lead the creation of planning efforts and manage agendas for meetings
  • Preparation of executive reports and presentations to a variety of audiences/constituents
  • Develop programs and processes supporting department strategy
  • Program manage our digital transformation – the tools we use, the training our product managers need to become digital product managers
  • Drive a wide variety of strategic projects as business demands arise. Examples include: redesign our adoption reporting, launch a platinum support desk, develop framework for system monitoring and controls, etc.






  • Bachelor Degree
  • 8+ years of related experience with strong business acumen across Strategy, Data or Technology
  • Experience in Digital at a financial services organization preferred but not required
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented and strong communicator with the ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization
  • Executive presence with high business IQ
  • Demonstrated success and significant experience in implementing technology and leveraging data to achieve greater business effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Proficient in driving profitability and ROE measures as well as root cause analysis
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others
  • Proven success influencing and working effectively across broad and complex organizations
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
