New York Life Investments is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Broker/Dealer Operations team. This role is an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in Financial Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Research account and transaction records in order to resolve issues for registered representatives and shareholders
  • Process telephone requests such as redemptions, exchanges, and maintenance updates when requested by registered representatives and shareholders
  • Review transactions processed by other associates to ensure they were completed correctly
  • Provide accurate, thorough, and professional responses to registered representatives and shareholders regarding their mutual fund investments

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 1+ years work experience
  • Ability to solve typical problems that can occur without supervisory approval by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and practices with moderate supervision Strong communication skills and comfortable over the phone
