Customer Service position for those interested in pursuing a career in Financial Services. The successful candidate must be able to provide accurate, thorough and professional responses to registered representatives and shareholders regarding their mutual fund investments. They are responsible for researching account and transaction records in order to resolve issues for shareholders and registered representatives. They also process telephone requests such as redemptions, exchanges and maintenance updates when requested by shareholders and/or registered representatives. They check transactions processed by other associates to ensure they were completed correctly. 

General Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision

Technical Expertise: Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others in the discipline
Functional Knowledge: Has established skills to perform a range of day-to-day activities
Leadership: Has no supervisory responsibilities
Problem Solving: Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options
Decision Making / Nature of Impact: Impacts own team through the quality of the services or information provided; follows standardized procedures and practices and receives regular but moderate supervision and guidance
Communication Requirements: Uses communication skills to exchange information
