The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting NYLIM’s suite of solutions, which are sub-advised by various investment boutiques. The ideal candidate will have an investment marketing background, a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, keen attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow.  The position will coordinate the development of product-related content and help drive integrated campaigns.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Product Management and investment partners on idea generation and creation of product marketing materials in various formats, including blogs, webcasts, videos, brochures, presentations, flyers and digital representation
  • Develop, lead and execute thematic and product-specific campaigns to support key focus products and drive sales, in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Digital Marketing, Segment Marketing, Distribution, Business Intelligence and Compliance
  • Optimize campaign performance by analyzing metrics and making data-driven recommendations
  • Support new product launches and initiatives through marketing materials creation and development of go-to-market strategy in partnership with Segment Marketing, Distribution and Product Development teams
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly marketing material updates to ensure product positioning remains appropriate and consistent across all related materials


Skills and Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS required; concentration in marketing, finance, economics or communications a plus
  • 5+ years of investment marketing experience; exposure to alternatives, equities and/or ETFs a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; comfortable liaising with and presenting to senior management and boutique partners
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level to be a key driver of high-visibility initiatives
  • Curiosity, flexibility, strong sense of ownership and pro-active in nature; comfortable making decisions that will have a cross-functional impact
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-performing team environment; collaborating with others as well as working independently
  • Strong project management skills: Dynamic, high-reaching, creative and innovative, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office software skills
  • Series 7 license a plus
