Position:  Senior Associate (Jersey City, New Jersey)

 

Duties: Leverage theoretical knowledge of Computer Science principles to design, develop, implement, configure, maintain, administrate, and integrate the Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") system for Agency. Function as a Salesforce.com developer, and work within New York Life Insurance Company's technology group as part of the CRM team. Deliver highly-scalable, extensible, and easy-to-maintain solutions for end-users of the Salesforce platform. Leverage programming skills and languages, such as Apex, Visualforce, Force.com, Java, JSP, XML, JSON, Web Services (WSDL/SOAP/REST), as well knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise integrating technologies to develop solutions to highly ambiguous problems.

Requirements: Master's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology  or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years' experience designing, developing and implementing Salesforce.com web applications or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology  (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years' experience as noted above. Specific skills/other requirements – must possess one year of the following: Performing web application development, Salesforce secure integration and extensions, and design solutions utilizing Force.com API, APEX, Visual Force and SQL for life insurance applications. Performing development on the Data Loader, a Salesforce.com based ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tool, by identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts and loading that data into Salesforce.com from legacy systems. Performing object-oriented software development and architecture definition using Java, Oracle and SQL. Performing complex Salesforce.com Apex and Visual Force page development including Single Sign On Implementation, and web services development using REST and SOAP API. Utilizing Force.com API's to perform data integration between mainframe and salesforce. Executing asynchronous scripts utilizing Future & AJAX calls, and handling bulk record, batch processing and data migration. Designing, developing and implementing salesforce applications using Lightning framework. Performing sales cloud and service cloud customization, implementation, and ongoing technical support and enhancement. Interfacing with Business and Technical teams to analyze requirements, create technical architecture to meet business needs, and resolve technical issues.
