Position:  Senior Associate (Jersey City, New Jersey)

Duties: Analyze business and user requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications for use by development and implementation teams. Lead the team and other technical resources to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements for complex business projects. Serve as a liaison between business units, project managers, and the IT Delivery organization throughout the software development process. Review project requirements, develop project plans, and assess and estimate the necessary time-to-completion. Interface with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure requirements are met. Work with peers to execute code reviews and unit testing for new development. Document new development, procedures and test plans. Deploy all integration artifacts to testing and production environment. Evaluate release readiness, interpret business challenges, identify trends, and recommend best practices and perform .NET code analysis.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology  or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience performing business and system analysis development for annuities applications.  Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology  or related field  (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years of experience  performing business and system analysis development for annuities applications. Must possess one year of the following: enhancing/maintaining the Annuity administration system to house products and business rules which are built using .Net, SQL database and various interfaces involving mainframe and .Net batches; analyzing ACORD and Non-ACORD - WSDL based web services with Spring and Struts frameworks to develop/analyze multiple web applications; enhancing/analyzing secure web applications built using JavaIJ2EE and Web technologies, including HTML, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, Web services, PL/SQL, JDBC, and JNDI; leading Waterfall Model projects using HP Quality Centre, HP ALM, and Request IT; performing application design, functional and technical documentation, high level design, and solution engineering using Enterprise Architect and HP ALM; performing SQL and PUS QL query development and ETC to perform data analysis; interfacing with business stakeholders, business users, and end users to gather requirements, and translate requirements into system architecture; and interfacing with Solutions Engineers, Developers, Project Managers and Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure that developed applications meet business requirements.
