Duties: Builds logical and physical data models within Master Data Management (MDM) and aligns with enterprise data models.  Partners with the Data Governance team and business stakeholders to understand requirements, and design, implement, and deliver matching, merging, and survivorship to create golden images of master records.  Analyzes data from multiple systems, defines trends, and recommends the correct data quality, matching, and survivorship rules for data gathered from systems in MDM. Develops Proofs of Concept in EBX/MDM while demonstrating the capabilities of system meeting business needs.  Presents clean and concise information to all audiences through a variety of diagrams, samples, and documentation to enable effective business decisions. Provides task breakdowns and effort estimates for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) new business requirements.  Delivers high-quality project deliverables and documents that add value to business and project stakeholders. Defines data quality standards for effective matching needs and develops integrations with Data Quality systems.  Develops batch, streaming, publishing/subscribing (pub/sub) messaging and real-time integration solutions with MDM applications.  Works with business and operational stakeholders to identify, define, and deliver reporting and dashboard needs.  Develops Machine Learning models, which will learn from manual stewardship data correction and automate the stewardship workflow. Implements DevOps and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices within the EBX development process.  Improves the performance of the MDM system and define EBX alerts and monitoring.  Maintains documentation for program specifications and revisions. Participates in post-implementation reviews to share application knowledge with the Application Service Management (ASM) team.  Maintains and provides operational support to production applications.

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of data engineering and analytics experience using Master Data Management (MDM), Big Data, and Java

 

Or, in the alternative:

 

Bachelor’s  degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of data engineering and analytics experience using Master Data Management (MDM), Big Data, and Java

 

Required Skills:

 

Experience must include 2 years in each of the following skills:

 

1)   Developing Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality solutions using TIBCO EBX, Informatica Data Quality, Address Doctor, Java, XSD, and JSON;

 

2)   Developing Big Data, extract transform, and load (ETL), and astreaming solutions using Apache Spark, Java, Kafka, Hive, Postgresql, S3, Debezium, Elastic Search, Kibana, and AWS SQS/SNS and machine learning models;

 

3)   Developing real-time integration and micro-services using API, RAML, Mulesoft, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hashicorp Consul, Dynamo DB, and CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins or Maven;

 

4)   Developing user interface (UI) web applications using React JS, Node JS, JQuery, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript;

 

5)   Developing cloud native and hosting applications in AWS Cloud and using Terraform, and performing Tokenization or Encryption for data using Protegrity, AWS KMS, and AWS CLI; and,

 

6)   Developing reports and dashboards using Business Objects, Tableau or Power BI.
