Primary Responsibilities:

 

The Operations Analyst is a critical role in our current and future state operations as the organization undergoes a multi-year operations modernization process.  This position will report directly to the Head of Institutional Life (IL) Case Management, our business operations and client service organization.  This person will be the primary coordinator and planner for IL Operations requiring an understanding of the processes of the operations team.  Responsible for the analysis and determination of resource planning, team reporting and communication, and prioritization of the Case Management Operations team’s business and operational needs.  This is an excellent opportunity for a highly competent, driven, “team-first” professional to join an organization that values teamwork, service to community, and a client-first approach to business.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate projects and/or commitments for the Case Management/Service team leveraging collaboration and reporting tools
  • Lead planning cadences and manage agendas and minutes for meetings (staff, Town Hall,  etc.)
  • Create communication plans and provide content for various vehicles such as corporate intranet, emails, and talking points
  • Preparation of reports and presentations to a variety of audiences/constituents
  • Develop programs and processes supporting Team and Department strategy
  • Provide oversight and governance of Team projects and strategy while managing indirectly through functional managers
  • Represent Team in cross functional groups, acting as an ambassador for the team across Institutional Life and the enterprise, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment with our partners. Ensuring our plans and vision are well socialized and helping to connect the dots across the organization.
  • Track problem resolutions and provide regular communication of outstanding issues to all key stakeholders
  • Communicate with Institutional Life Management to determine priority of Case Management Initiatives
  • Negotiate through areas of conflict and enable arrival at consensus
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Life Insurance Experience or other Financial Services Operations experience preferred
  • 5+ years’ minimum experience
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Experience leading project delivery and diagraming process flows a strong plus
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to bridge / facilitate / report efforts between service, technical and business teams via meetings, status reports, demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others
  • Proficient at using all Microsoft office products with the ability to create professional presentations and develop messaging around business strategies and initiatives
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, solid business and financial acumen, detail oriented, solution-driven spirit
  • Excellent collaboration, problem solving and information seeking skills are essential
  • Passion for learning and improving the business
  • Ability to find creative and efficient solutions for business process needs
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
