This position will report directly to the CVP of Advanced Markets Network (AMN) Systems and be responsible for oversight and management of Administrative and Illustration Systems Production Support.  This person will be the primary point of contact and act as a liaison between the AMN Operations, systems vendors, and internal systems support teams.  This person will understand the processes of the operations teams and be able to analyze and prioritize production support issues and determine the appropriate corrective action. 


Primary Responsibilities

  • Receiving and prioritizing production support issues
  • Deciphering appropriate action plan for resolution of reported issues
  • Coordinate and/or triage issues as appropriate which may include some testing
  • Document and communicate issues to vendor for correction (when applicable)
  • Provide guidance and explanation to users regarding status and next steps with reported issues
  • Key member of systems development team to ensure systems are being developed and tested effectively
  • Track problem resolutions and provide regular communication of outstanding issues to all key stakeholders
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders, vendors and systems teams as necessary
  • Work with AMN Management to determine priority
  • Identify proactive measures to avoid production issues through process, procedures, systems support, etc
  • Provide training on utilization of new features or corrections


Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of Life Insurance – Specifically COLI and BOLI
  • Have or be willing to obtain LOMA 1 and 2 within 1 year of hire
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a FINRA Series 6 within 1 year of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Business analysis experience including writing test plans, testing and documenting results is a plus
  • Ability to find creative and efficient solutions for business process needs
  • Can work independently as well as within a team
  • Has strong customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
  • Has strong problem-solving skills
  • Acts with a sense of urgency
  • Possesses strong communication skills
  • Has exceptional time management skills
  • Familiar with MS Access
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel 
  • Knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint is a plus
