In our Leawood, Kansas office, we are seeking a highly talented and driven Specialist to join our dynamic, high-performing team focused on essential functions (i.e. providing top level service) to our institutional clients with an industry leading business unit, Institutional Life (IL). IL offers sophisticated life insurance products in the Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) and Corporate Sponsored markets.

 

This role is on the Business Service’s team which manages essential functions for our office/internal clients, mail handling as well as general and disbursement correspondence. As a Specialist, you will facilitate disbursement and service operational functions for Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI), and retail insurance policy transactions.  The Specialist will also assist in the development of process improvements to reduce manual processing and move to systematic transaction processing.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

 

  • Handle incoming mail and overnight deliveries
  • Scan and index all work types into an automated workflow system - Salesforce
  • Scan transactions to share drive folders
  • Monitor and report all incoming wire transactions
  • Process check deposits
  • Review daily confirmations and statements
  • Review daily non-financial transactions
  • Process daily outgoing mail through postage meter
  • Process address, owner and beneficiary change confirmations
