Duties: Leverages theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles to design and implement large and complex web-based solutions. Collaborates with Architects, Business Analysts, Functional & Load Testing, and Security teams throughout the application development life cycle to deliver large-scale solutions. Leverages new technologies in the Java space and Adobe Experience Manager platform to design and implement JEE solutions and help formulate JEE development "best practices" and guidelines  Conducts code walk-throughs with team members and ensures that "best practices" are followed. Estimates development efforts for projects of varying sizes and assists the Solution Delivery team achieve higher levels of competency, effectiveness, and internal process improvement. Manages development projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

 

Educations & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience designing and integrating J2EE and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) web content.

OR, in the alternative:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience designing and integrating J2EE and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) web content.

AEM Developer certification required.

Experience must include 3 years in each of the following:

 

(1) Coding in Java  in the J2EE platform and performing Junit testing;

 

(2) Implementing applications using advanced coding techniques, frameworks, and reusable services, including Adobe Experience Manager 6.0+ (AEM), Apache Sling, CRX, Apache Felix, Sightly/HTL, Sling Models, Touch UI, Jackrabbit, Java Content Repository, OSGi, Adobe Marketing Cloud Solutions, Unix, Apache Web Server, Dispatcher and AEM Digital Asset Management;

       

(3) Performing software development and configuration using WebSphere, Eclipse, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;

       

(4) Accessing Spring and Web Services using SOAP and REST;

       

(5) Building and deploying applications using Git, Maven, and Jenkins;

       

(6) Performing Quality Assurance (QA), including verifying complex integration and reviewing code from third-party Developers;

       

(7) Designing SQL queries and performing data ETL from RDBMS to integrate with AEM applications; and,

       

(8) Creating design documents and defining software architecture.
