Role Overview:
Technology Summer Interns join us for 11 weeks. You will have an opportunity to explore potential career paths while working on real-life projects across our technology organization and gain the valuable experience essential for you to take the next step in starting your career. Our world is full of opportunities to collaborate, imagine, invent, and evolve transformative technology.
You’ll also expand your skills through hands-on training and development opportunities – all designed to prepare you for a successful career after graduation.
Here, you’ll be part of a strong network and learn alongside a group of highly motivated peers just like yourself. It’s a collaborative environment full of learning opportunities designed to help you evolve your skills, challenge your strengths, and reach your full potential. You’ll also build mentoring relationships, have access to senior leadership, and gain exposure across the company.
Beside working with your team, you will also interact with the other Technology Interns while working on a real project. You will engage in the company’s Volunteer for Good activities to give back to the community in which we live.
What You’ll Do:
Technology Analyst interns can enter one of two pathways: Analyst and Product Analyst.
Role: Analyst
Description:
- Assist the liaison between the business or functional community and the Technology organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
- Develop skills in the business or functional areas they support, as well as an understanding of related technology systems and capabilities
- Assist in the process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology solutions
- Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks
- Support the product owner in the development of the product backlog
- Review the functionality after the developer has completed coding to understand how the functionality meets the acceptance criteria
- Recommend changes to existing processes to reduce overhead and eliminate waste while still controlling risk
- Develop and maintain analytics reporting and processes that provide insights to business performance and key metrics (where required)
- Synthesize data from various sources to uncover insights about operations, helping to drive important strategic decisions
Role: Product Analyst
Description:
- Collaborate with business on product roadmap, discovery and scoping of features, user designs; document product requirements, business rules/logic, define acceptance criteria; Resolve product questions
- Work with the business team and key stakeholders to define scope updating existing product features and implementing new product features
- Work with business product managers to understand the high-level business requirements
- Responsible for delivering the product against business requirements
- Be hands-on with describing business rules as technical artifacts using internal tools.
- Work with the product design team to understand product feasibility and features and analyze and clarify product requirements
- Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that the delivered system is properly tested and meets the product requirements
- Closely work with technical team to align their development with business needs
- Ensure the user experience, responsiveness, and functionalities of applications
- Participate as a team member in planning the individual product features and their development lifecycle
- Research and identify best practices both from a business & product perspective
What You’ll Bring: An innovative mindset and the ability to challenge the status quo while exhibiting excellent problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Required Skills:
- You must be a rising senior or graduate student studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or other related major with a keen interest in the financial services industry, along with documenting IT solution requirements (business, functional and/or technical), and strong technical knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- You possess excellent problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $30-35/ hour
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: No
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
