New York Life’s primary distribution channel is the career Agency sales force of more than 12,000 agents, operating in virtually every major city in the United States.  Every agent is affiliated with one of our 117 General Offices. These offices are operated by Agency management teams responsible for agent and management recruiting, development, and sales.  Approximately half our agents operate their businesses out of our General Offices, while the other half maintains independent office locations. 


Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers.  The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the women’s markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.


This role sits within Eagle Strategies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York Life, and is based in New York.  This candidate must have the ability to work across various marketing disciplines, juggle multiple tasks, and will support the Marketing team in operational activities related to content, website, analytics, and email programs and initiatives.  Responsibilities include:


Digital Operations

  • Setup, schedule and distribute email communications to advisors
  • Effectively manage workflows for content creation and email distribution
  • Perform routine website updates and maintenance of digital assets
  • Implement marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement
  • Create, interpret and deliver email and website metrics reports
  • Manage and refresh content and copy across web platforms


Marketing Operations

  • Write and update end-to-end marketing operations processes
  • Maintain editorial and content production calendars and provide support for the development of internal and client-facing marketing materials
  • Ensure inventory levels for marketing print collateral are adequately maintained and replenished when required
  • Create and deliver content fulfillment reports
  • Handle other projects and tasks as assigned




  • BA/BS required, with three to five years in a marketing role, preferably within financial services
  • Excellent project management skills and results-oriented
  • Knowledge of marketing technology such as CMS, email platforms, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Keen attention to details with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight turnaround times
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
