As a member of this group, the Associate General Counsel will:
● Provide legal advice to the Insurance Group and other business units regarding insurance regulatory matters and service issues for traditional life insurance products, including product development, administration of in-force policies, and electronic commerce for insurance transactions.
● Provide advice with respect to regulatory developments that could impact the traditional life insurance business.
● Provide legal counsel for review of advertising material and insurance illustrations.
●Perform legal research and write legal memoranda.
● Gather facts from multiple sources and interact with client areas, keeping them advised of developments and status of all matters.  


• 7 or more years of experience in law firm and/or corporate law department
• Experience in life insurance is preferred.
• Strong oral communication, writing and client facing skills
• J.D. Degree
• Admitted to the New York bar
