The Associate Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for providing support to the Corporate and NYL Investors Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team. In this role, the Associate will help drive HR initiatives and strategies, including talent management and diversity, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and employee engagement.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRBP team to deliver HR projects, programs, and initiatives to support the execution of talent strategies and goals for the broader organization
  • Analyze key talent metrics and data to identify workforce trends and create executive reporting materials to deliver to leaders to make informed decisions regarding talent strategy
  • Partner with HRBP team and HR Centers of Excellence including Compensation, Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Diversity to provide appropriate support to clients
  • Manage off-boarding activities, including exit interviews and turnover trend analysis
  • Help execute against all people development processes for group including talent management, promotions, performance management, training programs, and year-end compensation
  • Support all return to onsite work needs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
  • Serve as the point person for fulfilling day-to-day HR inquiries and ad hoc data inquiries  
  • Support maintenance of HRBP group on The Square

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 – 4 years working in Human Resources, consulting, and/or change management
  • Highly Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and to span organizational boundaries
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership for work
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
