The Client Communications team is responsible for communications sent to our agents and customers across multiple lines of business and distribution channels. The Associate is primarily responsible for testing (User Acceptance Testing) changes to existing correspondence and new correspondence deployments and managing production incidents that impact accurate delivery of correspondence.

 

This position requires an understanding of quality control testing strategies, root cause analysis and problem solving as well as correspondence and administrative system processes. The Associate partners with Client Communications’ Business Analysts, Copywriters and other team members, and works closely with the Technology QA and Development teams.  The Associate also works closely with multiple Business Partners (Service Organization, Product Development, Legal & Compliance) to understand their requirements for correspondence updates and incident remediation.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creates test plans for correspondence changes, deployments, and remediations.
  • Performs User Acceptance Testing in connection with correspondence changes, deployments, and remediations.
  • Tasks related to identifying, investigating and troubleshooting correspondence-related issues, incidents and defects while minimizing business interruptions.
  • Participates in remediation, recovery and resolution efforts due to correspondence problems.
  • Maintains detailed logs of all issues including description, observations, root cause, corrective actions, and action steps.
  • Recommend improvements and enhancements based on issues and trending.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Concentration preferred
  • Prior experience creating test documentation, to include creating and executing test plans and scripts
  • Experience with Jira (tracking Epics & Stories) & PractiTest (reporting/tracking testing defects)
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to translate technically complex issues into business friendly content
  • Proven ability to form productive relationships with key stakeholders by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively

  • Annuity product knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to provide creative solutions
  • Experience multitasking between several prioriies; ability to manage multiple issues and workstreams at the same time along with other related responsibilities
