The Corporate Vice President of the Service Risk Team will be responsible for leading and managing the risk management, business continuity, and records management teams. This includes identifying and mitigating risks, providing guidance on risk-related matters, and maintaining comprehensive business continuity plans and records management processes. In this role, the individual will work closely with all levels of management within the Service Organization as well as those in Risk Management, Legal and Compliance to establish strategies and solve complex risk related matters. The individual will leverage industry knowledge and leading practices to manage risk, implement comprehensive business continuity plans and records management to support Service goals and priorities.
The CVP will also be expected to bring in-depth knowledge and expertise on risk management, business continuity, and records management, to assist the senior leadership team in making informed business decisions. The CVP will act as an advisor on all matters related to risk management, and helps the organization determine the appropriate level of risk to accept. They will also be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the Service organization. The CVP should be able to understand the big picture and see how different pieces of information or tasks fit together.
• Bring a risk perspective to strategic discussions and tactical issues, serve as a liaison between Service and the broader risk management organization.
• Work with the various Service businesses and functional areas to assess risks and develop mitigating strategies, act as a liaison between the business and broader enterprise-wide risk management programs.
• Evaluate emerging risks and stay abreast of industry developments, current events and industry best practices that might impact the organization.
• Perform detailed risk assessments of the Service organization for new initiative and significant changes to existing processes.
• Oversee the maintenance and compliance with business continuity and record retention plans for Service.
• Ensure all business continuity plans are maintained and updated, and assess opportunities to enhance existing plans to improve continuity and employee communication.
• Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to drive implementation of necessary improvements to maintain compliance, enhance capabilities, and mature services supporting the enterprise across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Management programs.
• Lead and develop a team to coordinate efforts between different partners and stakeholders within the organization.
Salary range: $105,000-$160,000
