Position:  Corporate Vice President, Strategy and Business Planning (New York, New York)
Duties: Work with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team on key initiatives supporting the company’s overall vision and strategy. Partner with Senior Leaders in our various business (Agency, Product, Marketing & Underwriting, Service) and functional areas (IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Supplier Management, Risk, Legal, Compliance) to support development and execution of strategic initiatives within those areas. Define and analyze complex business problems, developing recommendations, partnering with line managers to drive implementation, facilitating governance and communication processes, and playing a key role in informing and influencing decision making. Leverage thought leadership and advisory skills to frame and analyze complex problems, assess areas of opportunity in line with overall vision and strategy, and develop pragmatic solutions to key strategic and operational issues. Support strategic planning and related activities by facilitating structured reviews of the enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives and implications, and assisting with the development of agenda and materials for senior executive audiences and meetings.  Drive end-to-end delivery of solutions, lead the implementation of key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships with colleagues across businesses and functional areas, and manage enterprise governance and communication processes.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management  or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus seven years of experience structuring and delivering enterprise business and technology strategy projects. Or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management  or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four years of experience structuring and delivering enterprise business and technology strategy projects. Must possess one year of the following experience: Defining and executing key initiatives, including various digital, technology modernization and data transformation, in alignment with company’s vision and strategy. Managing client teams throughout the process of solution development. Presenting recommendations to senior leadership using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Working with business and technology leaders to identify opportunity areas to improve efficiency or build new capabilities. Developing framework and approach to validate opportunities, prioritize opportunities, define governance structure and develop execution roadmap. Analyzing data in Excel and other relational databases (Access, Oracle, SQL) to perform fact-based analytical analysis of strategy development initiatives. Analyzing financial (costs, benefits, and ROI) and non-financial (resources, execution timeline, and risks) data for each initiative, and making recommendations based on analysis. Independently architecting complex enterprise level technology solutions including technology evaluation and selection, full stack (application, middleware, data, integration and infrastructure) solution architecture and delivery program standup. Leading multiple projects simultaneously, such as modernization of business applications, migration of infrastructure into the Cloud, and digitization of existing and new business capabilities.
