Role Overview:
Are you a strategic change leader ready to transform how people work in an AI-first world? New York Life GBS is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the People & Change pillar of our Group Transformation Office. You’ll design and execute change strategies that empower employees, accelerate adoption, and embed new behaviors and new ways of thinking across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the enterprise change strategy for GBS Reimagine, ensuring organizations are prepared for - and successfully adopt - AI-enabled and agentic workflows, digital workers, and new operating models.
- Shape and embed a bionic culture, partnering with business and technology leaders to normalize agent-human teaming, responsible AI use, and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Develop role-based enablement plans, training journeys, and communication toolkits for diverse stakeholder groups on how to work effectively with digital workers, AI copilots, and agentic capabilities.
- Drive execution of an AI adoption communications engine, ensuring clear, consistent messaging on what’s changing, why it matters, and how teams will be supported.
- Activate and manage the AI Champion network, building distributed models of advocacy and localized coaching & engagement across business domains.
- Partner closely with Value & Portfolio Management, ensuring that change plans align to measurable value, sequencing, and downstream readiness needs across pre-sale, onboarding, implementation, service, and claims.
- Measure success through change and adoption KPIs, feedback loops, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
- Guide leaders through behavioral shifts, helping them model AI-forward mindsets, lead through ambiguity, and new ways of working.
- Integrate incentives into the change strategy, ensuring that desired behaviors such as AI usage, workflow adoption, accuracy improvements, etc. with digital workers—are reinforced through recognition, coaching, and performance alignment.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years change management experience; 10+ years of overall experience.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in enterprise change management and transformation programs.
- Ability to flex and change based on shift priorities.
- Strong ability to translate strategy into human-centered change plans.
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, communications, and training design.
- Familiarity with AI adoption, digital transformation, and operating model redesign is a plus.
- Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills across business and technology teams.

Location & Work Model:
Hybrid setup with flexibility to work remotely for Iowa candidates. There is expected occasional travel to New York, Philadelphia, or other strategic collaboration locations.

Pay Transparency
Salary range: $119,000 - $170,000 (New York City, Philadelphia) // $119,000 - $150,000 (Chattanooga, Iowa)
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
