Duties: Design and implement data pipeline architecture and processes including sourcing, transformation, and extraction to enable seamless analytics integration. Utilize expert-level SQL and Python to manage, query, and transform structured data in relational databases to ensure performance and scalability. Automate and manage robust data pipelines and workflows using software engineering best practices to ensure reliability and scalability. Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts to align with business requirements and analytical workflows. Build and maintain data models to optimize data storage, access platforms, and support complex business analytics needs. Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions. Leverage cloud platforms including AWS, Snowflake, and Redshift, and big data frameworks to build and scale data engineering solutions for large-scale analytics. Develop and enforce standards for metadata management, data governance, and documentation including entity-relationship diagram and process flow creation. Conduct comprehensive quality assurance, including code reviews, test plan development, and rigorous testing for data accuracy and integrity. Provide troubleshooting support for data pipelines with a focus on system performance, data accuracy, and availability to meet business analytics demands.
Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering,
or
related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus seven (7) years of experience as an Associate Manager, Analytics Engineer, ETL Professional, or related occupation performing data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Utilizing expert-level SQL and Python to manage and query structured data in relational database management systems (RDBMS); Building data models to optimize data storage, access patterns, and support business analytics needs; Automating and managing SQL workflows using software engineering best practices; Developing standards and practices for data and analytics engineering, focusing on scalable architectural data pipeline patterns; Utilizing big data platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, and Hadoop for efficient large-scale data processing and analysis; Utilizing Git for version control and collaborating with teams to manage and track changes in data pipeline scripts and configurations; and utilizing cloud compute environments (AWS) and cloud-native tools to build, deploy, and scale data engineering solutions.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
