Corporate Vice President, Continuous Improvement

 

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

 

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure sustainment of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Management System across business units/functions.
  • Deepen the adoption of CI principles, systems, and tools through coaching, skill development, and behavior reinforcement with business leaders.
  • Support post-implementation sustainability by conducting CI assessments, planning corrective actions, and executing improvements until embedded in business activities.
  • Drive performance against balanced scorecard targets in partnership with BU leaders and Finance, focusing on value creation and capture.
  • Build individual and leadership competencies in CI tools and behaviors through continuous coaching, training, and participation in CI communities of practice.
  • Co-develop and execute 100-day performance improvement plans to ensure lasting change post-implementation.
  • Train and support new employees in CI practices, ensuring effective problem-solving sessions with clear priorities and outcomes.
  • Refine standard work practices and ensure alignment with CI-driven objectives and operational performance goals.
  • Work closely with leaders at all levels (tier 1-3) to embed CI into the culture and systems of the business unit.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE) to identify and address training needs and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Coordinate with other CI teams and BU Sustainability Leaders to customize and refine assessment tools and post-deployment strategies.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement through structured methodologies.
  • Experience conducting assessments, planning improvement roadmaps, and embedding process changes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Knowledge of training development and CI tools customization.

 

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Continuous Improvement systems, tools, and principles.
  • Strong coaching ability at various leadership levels (tier 1-3).
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing corrective action plans.
  • Ability to design and execute 100-day improvement plans.
  • Skilled in problem-solving facilitation and standard work refinement.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in value capture/value creation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with budgeting for CI projects and skill acquisition planning.
  • Participation in CI communities of practice.
  • Ability to customize and refine tools to specific business needs.

 

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
