Role Overview
The Corporate Vice President, Continuous Improvement Sustainability Leader leads the sustainment and evolution of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Management System across the Service Experience value stream while managing and developing a team of Sustainability Leaders. This role partners closely with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, accelerate Continuous Improvement maturity, and embed sustainable management practices that improve operational performance and business outcomes. As both a strategic coach and people leader, this individual drives the consistent application of CI principles, management disciplines, and management system tools while ensuring improvement efforts deliver measurable value across multiple functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sustainability Leaders by building organizational capability, driving succession planning, aligning resources to the highest-value business opportunities, and fostering consistent coaching, assessment, and Continuous Improvement deployment practices.
- Partner with senior leaders across multiple functions to coach Continuous Improvement leadership behaviors, facilitate strategy deployment, build organizational maturity, and embed management system disciplines into business planning and performance review processes.
- Lead Management System Assessments (MSAs), translate assessment findings into strategic priorities, oversee execution of improvement plans, and tailor Continuous Improvement systems to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Drive enterprise value creation by leading cross-functional Continuous Improvement initiatives, applying advanced methodologies and tools, connecting improvement activities to financial and operational performance, and collaborating with Centers of Excellence to evolve enterprise standards.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning by leading Communities of Practice, mentoring Sustainability Leaders and Change Agents, delivering advanced Continuous Improvement training, and promoting the adoption of best practices across the organization.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams of Continuous Improvement practitioners, Sustainability Leaders, Change Agents, or similar operational excellence professionals.
- Demonstrated success leading Continuous Improvement initiatives across large, complex, and federated organizations while delivering measurable business value.
- Executive presence with the ability to coach, influence, and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, including Vice Presidents and senior executives.
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, management systems, and tools, including Kaizen, strategy deployment, Hoshin Kanri, and management system design.
- Strong facilitation, strategic planning, analytical, and change leadership skills with the ability to translate business priorities into sustainable operational improvements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Operational Excellence Institute (OEI), Shingo, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable Continuous Improvement frameworks.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide management system assessments and translating findings into strategic improvement roadmaps.
- Demonstrated success linking Continuous Improvement initiatives to financial performance, balanced scorecards, and enterprise value creation.
- Experience building cross-functional Continuous Improvement communities, mentoring practitioners, and driving enterprise capability development.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
