Job Overview

 

The Corporate Vice President- HRIS is a key leader within the HRIS function, accountable for the performance, delivery, and continuous improvement of core HR systems, with a primary focus on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). This role combines deep functional and technical HRIS expertise with leadership responsibility for team outcomes, operational excellence and the advancement of digital HR solutions.



The CVP - HRIS is responsible for managing HRIS professionals and ensuring the successful execution of system initiatives that support HR, Payroll, and business objectives. This role applies business and functional strategies to HRIS priorities, ensuring systems are scalable, compliant, aligned with enterprise goals and leveraging AI solutions where available. The role partners closely with HR COEs, Payroll, IT, and external vendors, and provides subject matter guidance to stakeholders, including senior leaders. The role also plays a key part in driving innovation through digital solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities, to enhance HR processes and user experience.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Own and oversee the end-to-end delivery, performance, and stability of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Be accountable for team outcomes, including service delivery, project execution, and operational performance.
  • Manage and develop HRIS professionals, setting priorities, aligning work to business needs, and ensuring consistent, high-quality output.
  • Retain technical depth to engage in complex system work as needed, including configuration, troubleshooting, and support for high-impact EC and ECP initiatives.
  • Apply and adapt business and functional strategies to HRIS priorities, ensuring responsiveness to evolving operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and oversee system configuration, testing, releases, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring adherence to governance and change control standards.
  • Partner with HR COEs, Payroll, Compliance, and IT to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant system solutions.
  • Serve as a key decision-maker for day-to-day and moderately complex HRIS issues, ensuring alignment with functional plans, policies, and service expectations.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including escalations, release planning, and participation in roadmap discussions and user groups.
  • Drive innovation in HRIS through digital solutions, including evaluating and implementing automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, data insights, and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance decision-making through data, analytics, and intelligent system capabilities.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of system documentation, configuration standards, and end-user support materials.
  • Collaborate across HRIS and broader HR functions to ensure integration, consistency, and alignment across systems and processes.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior HR leadership.

 

 

Leadership Responsibilities

 

  • Accountable for the performance, results, and development of the HRIS team.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to HRIS professionals, building technical depth and capability, particularly in EC and ECP.
  • Adapts team priorities and resources to meet changing business and operational demands.
  • Provides subject matter leadership and consultation to internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, on HRIS capabilities and digital solutions.
  • Maintains sufficient technical expertise to guide decision-making, review team output, and directly contribute to complex or high-impact work when needed.
  • Encourages a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, including the adoption of new technologies and AI-driven solutions.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HRIS or HR Technology experience, with deep hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Demonstrated experience managing HRIS professionals and being accountable for team performance and outcomes.
  • Strong functional expertise in core HR and payroll processes, including compliance, data governance, and integrations.
  • Proven experience leading and contributing to system configuration, testing, releases, and upgrades within a governed HRIS environment.
  • Experience or exposure to digital HR transformation, automation, or AI-enabled solutions within HR systems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply business and functional strategies to HRIS solutions and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve moderately complex issues and guide team resolution efforts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple initiatives and competing demands.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

 

 

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $119,000-$153,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
