New York Life’s Wealth Management Solutions organization is comprised of NYLIFE Securities LLC and Eagle Strategies LLC. NYLIFE Securities LLC is registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as a broker-dealer, a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company. NYLIFE Securities provides brokerage services to retail investors through more than 6,000 affiliated Registered Representatives (RRs). NYLIFE Securities RRs offer investment products to meet a broad set of investor needs across various registered products.


Role Description:

The Corporate Vice President, NYLIFE Securities Product Management, is responsible for leading the development and execution of NYLIFE Securities’ product strategy, which supports New York Life’s broader Wealth Management and Foundational Business strategies to serve more client needs and drive agent productivity through investments solutions. Products distributed through NYLIFE Securities include, but are not limited to, brokerage solutions, mutual funds, 529 college savings plans, and employer-sponsored retirement plans. This role reports to the Head of NYLIFE Securities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals in the development and execution of NYLIFE Securities’ product strategy. Team disciplines include:
    • Product Development: Ideate and prioritize new value-add product solutions and lead the cross-functional development and implementation of those solutions.
    • Product Management: Manage vendor relationships, including custodian and fund family relationships. Manage business policy as it relates to product availability, etc. Conduct ad hoc data analysis and other product-related support to leadership and business partners.
    • Product Positioning: Position and promote NYLIFE Securities capabilities and product solutions to a range of audiences, including registered representatives/IARs, field management, consumers, and internal audiences.
  • Partner with Wealth Management leadership to plan and prioritize NYLIFE Securities’ strategic initiatives and manage/report on the overall progress of these initiatives to senior management, securing feedback and buy-in as appropriate.
  • Engage with and influence various levels of the organization, drive collaboration and trust, and ensure effective implementation of strategic priorities. Key strategic partners include Service/Ops, Legal and Compliance, and Technology.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall economic and strategic attractiveness of NYLIFE Securities’ offering.
  • Represent the business in enterprise-wide initiatives to elevate and promote NYLIFE Securities’ strategy and solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and apply emerging trends in the wealth management, brokerage, and affluent market spaces to enhance overall product and business strategy.



  • 10+ years in financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.
  • Investment licenses preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry and investments, particularly brokerage platform
  • Outstanding ability to synthesize complex proprietary data and industry research to develop succinct presentations and memorandum to help drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences, including agent / advisors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and across various departments aligned with a shared vision and mission.
  • Familiarity with project management discipline, with the ability to design a framework to drive large complex strategic projects.
  • Highly organized and analytical, applies creativity to solving complex problems.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and talent.




Salary range: $145,000-$215,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
