Corporate Vice President, Investment Solutions Product Manager
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
Role Overview:
The Investment Solutions Product Manager for the Purchase Experience Value Stream will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the platforms and processes supporting the purchase and onboarding of annuity and investment products. This role plays a critical part in shaping the customer and advisor experience by driving modernization, innovation, and efficiency across our new business capabilities.
As part of the Purchase Experience Value Stream, the Product Manager will play a key role in transforming how clients and financial professionals engage with our wealth and investment products, from the moment of purchase through account setup and onboarding. This role is responsible for supporting and modernizing all investment purchase platforms and driving digital innovation to deliver seamless, efficient, and client-centered new business processes. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the financial services industry, a passion for simplifying complex systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful change. You will collaborate closely with product teams, technology, operations, compliance, and distribution partners to ensure seamless purchase journeys, while also leading initiatives to digitize and optimize the way our customers and agents engage with wealth solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Product Ownership & Strategy
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for annuity and wealth purchase platforms, including digital tools supporting new business, Suitability, Reg 60 and account setup.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with the Purchase Experience Value Stream’s strategic objectives.
• Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of the purchase experience and process improvements through adoption, efficiency and user satisfaction.
Innovation & Modernization
• Lead modernization efforts across all annuity and investment purchase and new business processing platforms, leveraging digital tools, automation, and data to drive transformation.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, digital tools, and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Champion customer-centric design and data-driven decision making to continuously enhance the purchase experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with business, technology, operations, and compliance teams to deliver platform enhancements and new capabilities.
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive, consistent, and frictionless user experiences.
• Serve as a key liaison between the Purchase Experience Value Stream and other value streams to ensure integration and alignment across platforms.
Execution & Delivery
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize backlogs based on business value, effort, and strategic alignment.
• Manage backlogs, user stories, and sprint planning to ensure timely delivery of prioritized initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of product releases and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of product management or business leadership experience within financial services, with a focus on wealth management and investments.
• Proven ability to lead digital product initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Strong understanding of financial products such as mutual funds, annuities, managed accounts, and other investment vehicles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with platforms supporting new business or purchase journeys in financial services.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in investment and advisory services.
• Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, PMI-ACP) or experience working in agile delivery environments.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $156,000-$223,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
