Role Overview:

  • Leading a team of Marketing & Communication Managers
  • Setting the Communication Strategy which includes an internal communication strategy for employees
  • Work with Cross Functional Marketing Teams across NYL
  • Responsible for Identifying areas of interest/needs/marketing opportunities
  • Maintaining a consistent pipeline of marketing deliverables
  • Vendor management - Creative, Web and Digital Relationships
  • Liaise/Collaborate with Eagle teams
  • Review and Approve all written content
  • Provide direction on the public and advisor websites
  • Develop, drive and implement concepts, campaigns, brochures, presentations, and web content for the Wealth Management organization across all platforms (print, social media web, mobile, etc.)
  • Drive consistent and structured branding across all material and platforms
  • Develop customized communications and marketing support based on advisor segmentation, interests and preferences
  • Develop ongoing Eagle Strategy Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs) communication plan including defining key success and effectiveness metrics
  • Collaborate with in house Corporate Creative Services team to implement industry (Wealth Management) strategies
  • Responsible for individualized marketing support strategy for Eagle Strategy Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs) IARs including websites, customized marketing materials, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA Preferred (Marketing)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Well-rounded marketing experience in the financial services industry
  • Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in Asset Management or Wealth Management Industry Products/Platforms
  • Proven track record of taking large, complex concepts and presenting them in a concise manner that is easily understood
  • Campaign experience (targeted campaigns and broad reaching ones) 
  • Highly personable and able to work across teams within and outside of NYL
  • Ability to convey information through the use of infographics and design elements
  • Ability to be forward thinking about how to leverage social media, improve the FA experience and offer insights about how marketing can become viewed as a consultative resource
  • Ability to share ideas across the organization and team up where appropriate to build consensus, coalition and improve client and FA satisfaction
  • Ability to create (both written and designed) collateral that is targeted toward the affluent market
