Role Summary

The Corporate Vice President, NYLIFE Securities Product Management role supports the development and management of investments solutions sold through NYLIFE Securities LLC, a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered broker-dealer, member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and wholly-owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.  Part of New York Life’s Wealth Management division, NYLIFE Securities provides brokerage services to retail investors through more than 6,000 affiliated Registered Representatives (RRs) who offer mutual funds, retirement and 529 plans, full-service brokerage accounts (stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds), as well variable insurance products.

NYLIFE Securities’ product management efforts are a key component of New York Life’s Foundational Business strategy to serve more client needs through investments solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the product strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities to introduce new solutions and improve the value proposition of existing solutions
  • Lead key initiatives such as the launch of new product offerings and/or capabilities
  • Liaise with Technology, Service and Operations, and Compliance partners to implement product efforts
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners including mutual fund companies and technology vendors
  • Serve as subject matter expert for product-related inquiries and support needed from Sales, Learning & Development, Communication, and other partners
  • Conduct regular competitive scans and analyses to inform product strategy in line with marketplace and industry trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Understand and align product strategy with the evolving regulatory environment
  • Conduct basic data reporting and analysis to identify trends and insights that improve our offering



  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to develop a multi-faceted project plan and execute against it
  • Collaborative problem solver with demonstrated ability to leverage resources and expertise across the organization without formal authority
  • Strong communication skills across various levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to understand strategic business levers and prioritize accordingly
  • 8-10 years’ experience in similar or adjacent product management, operations, or sales roles
  • Broker-dealer, RIA, and/or wealth management experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Series 6 or 7
