Role Overview

We are looking for a Corporate Vice President of Product Marketing for NYLIFE Securities. The role will provide flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, working remote on Mondays and Fridays. The role is responsible for the positioning and promotion of NYLIFE Securities’ solutions and capabilities to New York Life financial professionals, clients/prospects, the general public, and internal stakeholders, including field management.

 

The business unit you will be joining:

New York Life’s Wealth Management Solutions department is comprised of NYLIFE Securities LLC and Eagle Strategies LLC. As a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) registered broker-dealer and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), NYLIFE Securities provides brokerage services to retail investors through more than 6,000 affiliated Registered Representatives and has more than $30B in assets under management (AUM).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a robust marketing strategy and plan, right sized to business goals, priorities, and resources
  • Articulate a compelling value proposition for NYLIFE Securities’ offering (both high level and product-specific) and develop multi-channel marketing campaigns and content that communicate that value proposition to various audiences, including financial professionals, clients/prospects, the general public, and internal stakeholders
  • Use insights and trends about the wealth management industry, financial professionals, consumers, and the macroeconomic environment to inform positioning, identify opportunities, and prioritize efforts
  • In partnership with the Product Management team, support product development efforts by identifying market needs/fit, designing/articulating the value proposition, and positioning new solutions to various audiences. Similarly, support enhancements of existing solutions 
  • Create and execute a communications strategy to deliver messages to key audiences (registered representatives, field management, consumers, internal groups, etc.)

 

 

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years in a marketing and/or communications function
  • Demonstrated understanding of the retail financial services industry, including fluency in product categories, advice, and service models. Proven experience in these areas a plus
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral, including the ability to communicate via a range of media and channels and to a range of audiences
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and plans in line with business goals and resources
  • Proven ability to plan and execute project plans in a matrixed organization
  • Series 6 or 7 license holder preferred
