The position is a Hybrid based role (on-site Tues, Wed, Thurs only)

 

The Delivery Enablement Lead will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting the Foundational Business Value Stream Technology Leads and Planning Leads to ensure initiatives are sequenced and prioritized to optimize delivery execution, create the highest level of business value and achieve stated business outcomes.

 

Aligning with the Lead Architect for Foundational Business, create an environment of transparency and openness to reduce and effectively resolve cross-team dependencies, establish and mature a discovery process that allows the teams to engage in new ideas, determine appropriate solutions, pilots and/or proofs of concepts that provide the appropriate level of information to inform a go, no-go decision to pursue and properly sequence.

 

In addition, this position will work with our Centers for Enablement (C4Es) to provide two-way feedback on how we can improve the overall engagement and services between the C4Es and Value Streams to optimize as much of the end-to-end life-cycle as possible.  Along with ensuring the resource modelling is in place to ensure the appropriate Value Stream team capacity to meet our OpModel delivery and financial goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain aggregate/integrated delivery roadmaps across the Foundational Business Value Streams identifying opportunities for improved sequencing.
  • Translates and executes business strategy to achieve the organization’s targeted business outcomes by working across the Foundational Business Value Streams to create an integrated view of all key initiatives.
  • Drive a framework/model to facilitate meaningful prioritization discussions aligned to the business and Technology strategies.
  • Work closely with Value Stream planning leads, RTEs and Delivery Leads to ensure transparency of initiatives across Value Streams.
  • Engage in complex initiatives, guiding teams on how to effectively identify and resolve cross-dependencies
  • Work with various levels of the organization to understand business goals, strategies, capabilities, processes to ensure cross team alignment.
  • Facilitates business and Technology alignment through a collaborative, supportive and consultative manner
  • .Create and facilitate cross-team communications to enhance transparency and issue identification and resolution
  • Identifies organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise delivery. 
  • Working with the Lead VS Architect, presents gap analyses and/or IT investment roadmaps that reflect the status of the existing IT landscape, namely, its ability to contribute to future-state business capabilities around ecosystems and digital platforms.
  • Facilitates a collaborative relationship across architecture community, product management and product delivery teams.

 

Education/Training:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in delivery methodologies such as Scaled Agile a plus

 

Previous Experience:

  • Five or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis.
  • Five or more years of experience in a technology delivery lead and planning role

 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

 

  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
  • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
  • Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
  • Strong leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Strong consulting skills such as targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management and business development.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies.
