Digital Workplace Associate

Corporate Communications is seeking an Associate to join our busy Digital Workplace team. In this newly created role, you will work across the Corporate Communications team, and with Corporate Technology and internal business clients throughout the company, to support engagement with the company’s collaborative intranet, known as “The Square”.


The position will report to one of our Senior Digital Project Partners and work in support of:


  • Serving as the department lead for coordinating and distributing department, corporate, and enterprise-wide communications through the Staffbase application.
  • Defining, collecting, interpreting and communicating metrics for both The Square and Staffbase products.
  • Managing employee-facing content on The Square.




  • Assist the team in distributing communications content via the company intranet and email systems.
  • Gather and interpret metrics to ensure our communications projects deliver results; this includes collecting and analyzing intranet and email usage statistics, post-meeting feedback, and other employee surveys.
  • Support the definition of a future-facing Digital Workplace strategy that ensures our employees can be productive, engaged, and have access to the tools and resources they need to do their jobs.
  • Learn about the businesses we serve and develop relationships with colleagues in those areas to understand how strategic communications play a role in engaging employees and achieving business goals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Communications, including Content Strategy, Employee Social Engagement, External Communications, Internal Communications, Multimedia & Design, as well as the onsite and virtual conference centers.
  • Contribute to other special projects and duties as assigned.

  • Interest in the businesses of finance, life insurance, and/or asset management a plus



  • 2-3 years professional experience; professional experience in related field preferred, such as internal employee communications, external communications/public relations, or marketing communications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, such as communications, public relations, or marketing, and proven expertise in digital technology, social media, collaborative platforms, or online community management
  • Proficiency with data analytics, understanding user behavior and trends, and experience of making recommendations based on metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required; knowledge of email distribution and analytics tools and project management experience preferred
  • Preferred hands-on, expert experience with the Interact platform, and experience of other collaborative intranets desired.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite

Salary range: $58,500-$85,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
