Role Summary

The Director, Digital Product Management leads agent presence programs for our NYL.com website. In collaboration with the Sr. Director of Web, this product manager will develop strategies, roadmap, and features for enabling experiences that promote the advice and expertise of our Agent / Recruitment force online. This role is responsible for seamlessly launching programs, tracking performance metrics, and developing micro and macro performance objectives that align to key marketing goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Roadmap Development

  • Develop strategies / plans that align to cross-business initiatives for consumer, client and recruitment initiatives
  • Provides industry experience to solve complex digital challenges and makes strategic decisions to achieve program goals
  • Guides and direct the research and design for delivering key product enhancements (UX/UI, user journeys, onsite search, SEO, etc.) 
  • Manages large project delivery schedules and key aspects of product development with coordination between Marketing, Agency, and Service

Leadership

  • Works across the organization to enable digital experiences that contributes to the overall success of our Agents & Recruiters
  • Anticipates changes within the digital market and insurance industry, and recommend solutions / enhancements for future web optimizations
  • Works with a cross-functional team of UX, UI, SEO, content, and other key stakeholders to develop digital experiences and ongoing product enhancements
  • Deliver presentations and communications for leadership across the organization (including the executive staff) on key product enhancements
  • Help define key processes for delivering digital experiences

Analytics and Measurement

  • Responsible for flawless delivery of digital programs
  • Develop and report on key digital analytics that inform digital roadmaps and enhancements 
  • Work with internal / external teams to develop, conduct and assess online user tests to identify future enhancement opportunities
  • Work with internal / external stakeholders to develop, conduct, and assess onsite testing strategies (AB, Multivariate, and targeted experiences)

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience developing web programs
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and/or breadth of experience web product management (UX, UI, Content, SEO, HTML, coding principles, etc.) 
  • Understanding of offsite and onsite testing best practices, and how to leverage output to develop future feature enhancements
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale web programs at a Fortune 500 company
  • Ability to anticipate market or business issues and recommend improvements / enhancements
  • Creative problem solver with track record of making sound business decisions
  • Solves unique and complex problems; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
  • Ability to use data and consumer insights to make strategic decisions 
  • Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, very deadline-driven environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas with others (all levels) and persuade audience to align to a single strategic point of view. 
  • Proven leader with a team first mentality and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
