The Marketing Enablement Center is made up of collaborative, problem solvers who manage the projects, processes, capabilities, and operations required to deliver data-driven, targeted marketing programs, focused on driving business outcomes. The Marketing Enablement team challenge each other and are energized to enable connected, personalized experiences among our agents, consumers, and the brand to influence prospecting and nurturing efforts.


Within the Marketing Enablement Center exists the Project, Intake, and Resource Management practice which is responsible for project management, resource planning, and facilitating the roadmap creation and sequencing efforts across the Marketing organization. This position resides within this practice with the unique role of supporting several marketing programs intended to drive results for New York Life’s Foundational Business and the enterprise.


The role is responsible for managing and driving management for a number of large scale, complex initiatives working with marketing leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise.  This leader demonstrates command of scope, measured outcomes, plans, risks, and dependencies proactively engaging with team members to ensure deliverables are met on time, on budget and meet the needs of stakeholders.  This role requires deep marketing expertise to sufficiently guide and drive programs, providing results which meet stakeholder expectations. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing project management services and driving execution by building and motivating cross-functional teams to ensure marketing deliverables are produced on time, with quality results, that incorporate stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborate, influence, and negotiate with Marketing leaders, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive outcomes that achieve Marketing’s objectives across a portfolio of programs.
  • Responsible for directly driving the following activities for several programs:
    • Define, sequence, schedule, and resource activities required to implement deliverables.  Develop plans, identify and mitigate risks, and manage dependencies.
    • Develop integrated plans including all interdependencies and oversee the day-to-day activities.  Ensure the right work is being done at the right time, predict downstream impact of how activities are sequenced, and identify when escalation is required.
    • Identify, document, manage, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and scope changes with teams and stakeholders; ensure commitment to timelines and objectives.
    • Design frameworks and documentation that assist business owners and senior leaders in understanding scope, sequencing decisions, and how decisions impact KPIs/metrics, business cases, and goals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years' experience managing large scale programs and platform management
  • Experience working in a scaled agile delivery framework (SAFe) a plus
  • Background building governance forums and processes
