Working under the direction of the Manager, the Representative must work to achieve the goals of their team by working both independently and with other members of the team in order to provide accurate and efficient service.  The Representative will have a proficient understanding of Fixed Annuity and Variable Products and the systems that support our products in order to perform their duties satisfactorily.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service for all registered representatives and clients regarding their policies via telephone or email.
  • Work with a high-performing and service-oriented team creating a positive, inclusive work environment by collaborating with peers.
  • Review any variance on payment processing to ensure that all payments adhere to any state and/or product restrictions.
  • Review and process business transactions using systems such as Cyberlife, RPay, TREM, CABS and Automated Workflow.
  • Support the team by identifying and implementing process improvements to assist peers and management.
  • Process assignments accurately and timely in accordance with established procedures while adhering to all measurable departmental goals.
  • Daily assignments include reviewing payment inquiries, processing and applying premium payments, providing support to all internal and external inquiries through an email database, review control reports, and perform remittance research on payment review requests.
  • Maintain proficient working knowledge of our administrative systems, products, services, and complete mandatory assigned courses.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors a plus!
  • 1+ years of experience payment processing or document review; Financial Services, Banking or Insurance industry preferred
  • Accountable, ethical, good decision-making ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Good computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
