Project Manager - Retail Annuities 90732

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will conduct Business Analysis and provide Project Management support to the Director of the Product PMO and its Customers / Project Sponsors in Retail Annuities.

 

The Project Manager will be key partner who is heavily involved in supporting holistic project planning with respect to all project initiatives across Retail Annuities and its sub-teams. This entails project scoping, planning, change management and execution from ideation through development & distribution. The Project Manager will also aid in the development of a scalable Project Portfolio Management standard and PMO reporting processes to ensure proper due diligence and organizational transparency for products we bring to market. The Project Manager also plays a primary role interfacing and coordinating with IT project managers, product managers, actuaries, marketing managers and other business partners to ensure project plans are executed appropriately within the specified constraints of time and cost.

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Lead and Manage Projects: Oversee and coordinate all project activities, ensuring successful delivery by working closely with product managers, project sponsors, actuaries, marketing managers, and other key functional areas.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Facilitate communication and collaboration with business partners, vendors, and relevant areas within the organization to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
  • Develop and Maintain Project Plans: Assist in creating detailed project plans, schedules, and reports. Regularly update these documents to reflect project progress and changes.
  • Assess and Report Project Risks: Continuously evaluate project risks and maintain an outstanding issues list. Meet regularly with project sponsors to address open issues and discuss project status.
  • Manage UAT Activities: Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across all key stakeholders and business units involved in each project, ensuring thorough testing and validation of project deliverables.

 

What You’ll Bring:

Required Skills 

  • Project Management Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and PMP Certification (or ability to obtain it within specified timeframes).
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to manage conflicting schedules and shifting priorities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges, and risks to stakeholders at various levels, and work effectively within all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Project Professional) and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills 

  • Annuity product knowledge from prior experience in IT, Product Development or Distribution
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) a plus.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $90,000-$135,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
