This role will be responsible for providing quantitative modeling and data support to a variety of company’s Asset Liability Management initiatives. The role interacts closely with the business units actuaries and investment accounting to explain investment results.


This person will also work with other members of the ALM team, as well as with Finance, Actuarial, and Investments teams on applications of asset modeling.




  • Maintain the company’s investment performance allocation models using company’s proprietary methodology
  • Develop management reports and explain investment analytics to business units actuaries and controllers.  
  • Interact closely with sector specialists, investment accounting, asset data & research team to expand the company’s asset modeling capabilities
  • Maintain the company’s asset database used for supporting the proprietary asset projection system. Enhance asset data cleansing and loading processes
  • Maintain the technical documentation and strengthen internal control of the company’s investment model.




  • Excellent programming skills in object oriented programming in Python / C++ / VB.Net / C#. Strong database skills in SQL, stored procedures and database design & structure.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including a degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Finance. (Advanced degree a plus)
  • The candidate should have experience with financial data and understand financial instruments and capital markets.
  • Familiarity with investment accounting is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with insurance or retirement products is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Experience working in documentation of applications and tools is a plus.
  • Effective time management and project coordination skills to handle multi projects.
  • Familiarity with Intex, Andrew Davidson, Aladdin, Beacon is a plus.
